The Acetone Freedom RFID Adapter for all Bluetooth compatible devices
The adapter capable of reading and writing to RFID tags of multifrequencies and protocols.
The unit frequencies currently available are 125Khz/134Khz, and 13.56Mhz. Coming soon – 915 Mhz units.
The unit can transmit the data to any Bluetooth PDA for future download to the PC or transmit directly to a Bluetooth module that is plugged directly into a PC port.
The RFID tags the three different Freedoms can read are:
All 134KHz ISO 11784 Standard
134KHz half and full duplex animal tags
All 13.56MHz ISO 15693 Standard
13.56Mhz Philips ICode
13.56Mhz Texas Instruments Tag-It
HiTagS H48, H56
Sokymat Unique 125 KHz
The RFID ADAPTER is self contained and because of its own rechargeable batteries, does not derive power from an external source.
With a flip of a switch, the unit supports stationary reads with the supplied AC charger.
Also, if your time in the field will exceed the rechargeable battery life, the user can install 4 – AA Alkaline batteries.
Demonstration Application PC Software for XP only and PDA Software for Palm and Pocket PC is provided with the scanner. Software source files are free and available for developers upon request.

iBUTTON DATA COLLECTION – iButton Bluetooth Download Transfer Station

The iButton Bluetooth Download Transfer Station (DTS) provides a wireless connection from the TEK Touch Pen to any Bluetooth compatible PDA. Data stored on a Touch Pen can be downloaded wirelessly to a PDA and stored for safekeeping until it can be uploaded to the main database. This allows the Touch Pen to read buttons in multiple locations before needing to return to a central office. Using an iButton DTS, Touch Pen data can also be uploaded directly to a Bluetooth compatible PC. The Download Transfer Station will directly read and transmit an iButton’s serial number and RAM.

Acetone FREEDOM BARE BOARD

The Freedom is capable of reading and writing to multiple RFID tags. Transmitting data to any Bluetooth PDA or Bluetooth compatible PC is simple using the Freedom’s wireless technology. The RFID Adaptor is self contained and because of its own rechargeable batteries, does not derive power from an external source (batteries not included). The boards can also be powered by a standard AC adaptor. Consisting of two PCBs, the first board houses the Bluetooth components and the second board houses the RFID Reader hardware.

Acetone iBUTTON DATA COLLECTION – Intrinsically Safe Rated Flashpen iButton 2000™ Data Collection Device

The Intrinsically Safe Rated Flashpen iButton 2000™ Data Collection Device (DCD) is believed to be the only true handheld, portable iButton™ data collection device that is rated intrinsically safe for gathering data in hazardous and explosive environments. The exposed metal surface of the TEK Intrinsically Safe Flashpen iButton 2000™ DCD is machined brass and offers the same industrial ruggedness and durability as the TEK Flashpen iButton 2000™ family of DCD’s. The TEK Intrinsically Safe Rated Flashpen iButton 2000™ DCD is ideal for use in the petrochemical, distillate, and other industries where ignitable and explosive gases and vapors may be present.

At less than one-half pound and measuring just 5.9 inches long by 0.875 inches in diameter, the TEK IFTP2000™ DCD is comfortable to hold and use. The TEK IFTP2000™ is powered by an easily replaceable Duracell DL2/3A 3 Volt lithium battery.

The Intrinsically Safe Rated Flashpen iButton 2000™ DCD is rated for use in Class 1, Divisions 1 and 2, Group A, B, C and D hazardous locations. These groups cover various gases and vapors, from the most ignitable in Group A (Acetylene), to the least ignitable in Group D (Gasoline, Alcohol, Propane and Lacquer solvents).

Data gathered and stored in your iButton Data collection Intrinsically Safe Rated Flashpen iButton 2000™ DCD is downloaded to your computer using the hands free iButton CRADLE® Data Transfer Station. Data download must be performed outside of the hazardous/explosive environment
