The Wireless LAN Module is the world’s most compact, feature rich module providing a complete wireless solution for all of your embedded application requirements.
The Intelligent Wireless LAN module has a high speed UART input, interfacing to an embedded TCP/IP stack and wireless drivers. With its integrated antenna it provides a complete, pre-approved 802.11b/g solution that requires minimal host processing overhead.
The WISM-UW is one of a range of new modules from us that contains a revolutionary new interface and scripting language. The Universal Wireless language allows the developer to construct simple scripts that perform complex functions quickly and easily. With Universal Wireless, applications can be loaded directly into the module’s on-board flash memory and run on its host ARM processor, allowing development and execution on the fly.
As a result the Wireless LAN Module becomes a complete stand alone development platform and application processor. This brings the development of Wireless LAN applications down from months to just hours.
